Why the Jazz do this:

The Jazz look to continue to build around Gobert and Mitchell, by adding a 3 and D Wing and a versatile power forward who can play in the pick and roll as a second option in the offense. Mitchell now starts as the point guard. Starting lineup looks like: Mitchell Richardson Bogdanovic Harris Gobert with O’Neale and Ingles off the bench.

Why the Sixers do this:

The Sixers had big issues with spacing last season, and adding conley who can play alongside Simmons off the ball is an ideal fit. Clarkson is a great offensive player off the bench. Getting off a long term contract like tobias Harris will be appealing since conleys deal expires after this year, and will give them more flexibility next year.
