If the Jazz loose their pick this year they will need to add talent, specifically defensive talent, via trade or free agency. In this case they work with the Rockets in the case that they don’t want pay Tari a large contract. Last I heard 4 years 25 million was rejected by the Rockets, so in this case the values are upped even more. The Jazz will need to part with at least one nice asset to get him, the Phoenix 2031 pick, and don’t mind over paying since they would be in a bind at this point anyway.
