ORL has to shed cap space and maybe October might be too late, but they can at least get some training camp and preseason reps in with their new perspective bench. The best option here is Brice fighting for the OTB role vs de Silva or maybe as a oversized 2 next to Black playing next to him, either way the Magic will appreciate a go to scorer like Brice. The 2030 pick seems desirable as of now and gives ORL some relevance in that draft.

This would be genius on several levels if the Ainges' could pull this off. Carter would become a monster under Utahs strength and conditioning team and would have his best season ever recorded. Give him a summer and 2028 Carter will be the talk of NBA and considered a top 5 Center in the league.
