The Jazz use the value and salary of their expiring vets to take on PG's contract and get the #3 pick(Ace Bailey), landing them one of the 3 cornerstone prospects in this draft, as well as keeping their #5 pick to choose a promising guard in Tre Johnson or Jeremiah Fears. With vets Lauri and PG leading the way, as well as tons of young pieces in the new draftees + George, Williams, Kessler, Hendricks, etc. the Jazz can finally start to turn the corner on their rebuild.
6ers get off PG's contract and get plenty of scoring and depth to ail their over reliance on Maxey and Embiid. Collins is a do it all 4 that makes an interesting small ball 5, Clarkson is a good backup guard, DeRozan can take on a lot of scoring and playmaking (and his 3 pointer keeps getting better), and you get the #21 pick from the Jazz, not much but you get something in this loaded draft.
This move only really makes sense for the Kings if DeRozan wants out. Ownership has implied they do not want to blow it up, but changes need to be made. The team needs a PG, and would need wing depth with DeRozan out. Defense would help too. This still leaves cap space to go sign more depth in the offseason as well.
