The biggest unknown here is Chicago. Are they buyer's, seller's, or looking to retool(while also getting a better FRP, a swap, and some SRP's)?. I think they're getting the best of both worlds with this trade, while also getting under the Luxury tax.

They clearly need a true PG if Lonzo never makes it back. Brogdon is as solid as they come without breaking the bank, while also maintaining FRP value if they decide to move him again. I'm also not sure if they're even looking to move Williams. He's been a decent piece. but he hasn't really lived up to his #4 pick status.

Even though Brogdon has stated that he want's to be in Portland, I don't think its good for Portland's growth. Henderson need's Brogdon's minutes if he's ever gonna live up to his potential. They also help themselves by getting their own picks back, which is crucial to maintaining flexibility.

So obviously, Sac get their guy. I also could have gone with Torrey Craig here, but I ultimately decided to go with Phillips. He's clearly a project, but Sac needs to find cheap guys in the 6'7"-6'9" range with long arms who they can mold into hopefully a Herb Jones or Trey Murphy III.
