As a Kings fan, I’d prefer to see the team blow it up and go into a full rebuild. But knowing how they run this team, I know they’re delusional about where they think they are. Our key pieces have lost some value, but our draft capital is at an all time high. So, knowing that a proper rebuild won’t happen…especially since they traded Ellis for Hunter…this is the cleanest path to contention.

In the offseason, keep this core together and add a starting PG and bring back Russ to be the backup PG. A wild thought (that I already know wouldn’t happen) would be bringing back Fox as a FA. A squad like that would provide scoring at all levels, give a pretty well rounded defensive squad and give depth at every position and allow this team to make some noise for a few years
