I think this trade ended up being a win-win. Both Halliburton and Sabonis are All Stars. Pacers wanted to go the younger route. Kings wanted a win now move, and Sabonis is a better fit with Fox than Halliburton was with Fox. Hali and Fox possibly could’ve taken the kings to the playoffs but I feel like they wouldn’t be as successful as the duo of Sabonis and Fox. Congrats to the Kings for securing their spot though.
