Why Kings do it: Kings use all the cap space and picks they get from the Fox trade to build up a ridiculously deep roster. They get a sacramento native, ball handling guard and absolute stud in Jared Mccain, they reunite Herb and Keon to make the real terror twins, they get a proven backup big on a great, albeit expiring deal, they sign two busts on the minimum to provide VERY underrated defense in limited minutes when first and second string players are injured.

Why 76ers do it: they pull the trigger on a deal landing them two firsts, two seconds, a safer rookie guard, a valuable stretch big who would fit great, and a bit of cap space.

Why Pelicans do it: Swap wings of similar skill levels for a cheaper option, while also getting a first and two seconds.

If the kings really don’t want to go into rebuild, then they just need to become a very deep team. They should trade away those picks right away and spend money to fix their issues.

The lineups are still hard to decide on because of the lack of true two-way players. A lot of players on this roster would either be defensive or offensive specialists.

Fixed Issues Shooting - Mccain is a future three point contest winner, Jones used to shoot 40 percent from three and Guerschon is pretty efficient on low volume

Defense - Jones a year ago was considered to be one of the best defenders in the league and I would even consider starting him to serve as a defensive anchor. The pickups in Smith Jr and Bamba, as I said are very very underrated defenders and will be able to do their job.

Chemistry - Mccain is meant to play in this city, and Keon and Herb will have ridiculous chemistry as former college teammates anchoring a defense together.

Ball handling - pick up two point guards that we really needed some depth in with fox gone. i’d still have monk starting at the 1

size - Guerschon is capable of playing the five for 12 minutes a game but can also play the 4 next to domas.

I’m willing to negotiate based on if the Pels or 76ers fans think the deal is leaning too much one way. You guys know the value of your players better than i do. I’d also be willing to go after some easier bigs like paul reed.
