So the Ringer feels that the Kings need to find a floor stretching, shot blocking, starting caliber big to play next to Sabonis. Well, with all the big re-signings and extensions in Minnesota this off season, somethings gotta give eventually, and I think KAT may be on his way out. No front office is gonna stay in the luxury tax for a lineup that finished with the 8th seed.

As far as the pieces being sent out by the Kings, I'm kinda using the Jrue Holiday to Boston trade as a similar Comp. Barnes would be the R. Williams piece and Monk would be the Brogdon piece. Jones is added for the money to work and and becuase i fell KAT has a tougher skillset to come by than Holiday. Mitchell would work instead of Jones, but i think Sac would convince Minnesota that they don't need another backup PG and Sac does.

I do realize the negatives of trading for KAT. With his extension about to kick in, Sac is severely bottlenecking themselves and will most likely go into the 1st luxury tax apron. This will make it extremely difficult to pay Fox what he's worth when it comes time to do so and keep enough depth.
