Sac improves defensively without sacrificing offense and doesn't have to worry about either guy leaving at the end of the season.

Portland obviously loses their best player, but gets 2 pieces to add to their young timeline and Barnes would be an excellent vet to help the young core grow, like he did with Sac. Portland could elect to move Huerter or Barnes for more draft capital. I think each is worth at least 1 FRP(maybe lightly protected) and salary filler.

Some would say Chicago isn't necessary in this trade and that Thybulle can just head to Sac, but I'm higher on Caruso. Idk, something about the undrafted underdog mentality and having something to prove every night stands out with me. That being said, Chicago makes a lateral move here and gets a draft asset for their trouble.
