Chicago trades defense for offense and some draft capital. Chicago clearly needs to do something and the extra floor spacing could make a world of difference for Lavine and DeRozan. Not sure what they do about their PG situation though. I'm sure Lavine could handle the ball until they figure it out.
Toronto loses OG, but gets another All-Defense member in Caruso, a former FRP in Terry who is under team control for the forseeable future, and a UFRP. Unfortuantely for Toronto, they gambled and didn't elect to trade OG last year when his value was higher and he still had another year on his contract, and now things aren't working out as predicted by many. This is a safe play for them imo. They lose some offense, but now they can extend Siakim and have another PG option if Schroder doesn't work out.
