Kings use their trade exceptions and their picks to fill out their bench!
Why Kings do it: finally quit being cheap and take up other teams’ contracts to help them out. We get two stellar bench pieces in Collins and Alexander-Walker, along with a solid backup center who can play minutes if needed.
Why Wolves do it: Instead of risking NAW signing elsewhere over the season considering their already expensive roster, they get nearly 5 mil in cap space, J-mac, and a first and three seconds.
Why Jazz do it: an inevitable trade happens that lands them two bench players, who best case scenario, are great role players, worst case scenario, help a tank. Kings fans know these players. They too, get a first and two seconds, along with a young stud in Isaac Jones and some cap space. They also get a veteran in Alex Len.
Why Pistons do it: 1st round pick for a second round pick more or less.
