”Celtics make the Finals” - JackHammer

Jack (I’m assuming that’s your name), do you really believe this? Or is this just bias? The Celtics didn’t make the finals this year WITH Tatum. Now, they’ve traded Porzingis and Holiday. Tatum’s out for who knows how long, and who’s supposed to lead this team? Jaylen Brown? I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Celtics be a play-in team, even in the weak east.

I just don’t see anyone stopping the Thunder this year. This ain’t a ridiculous game though. The only teams that would qualify for this (and even have a shot at winning it all) are the Cavs, Knicks, Rockets, (maybe) Mavs, (maybe) Clippers, (maybe) Magic, and (maybe) Spurs. None of these teams stack up well against the Champs. Not by star power, supporting cast, depth, and not really coaching either.
”After this off-season the Knicks are the most complete team in the east and unless the Cavs actually perform in the playoffs a healthy Knicks team is unbeatable out east” -Bdawg
Semi-valid
I’m really on the fence about this one. Nothing changed much this off-season between these two teams, except for a few role player changes and extensions. I go semi-valid because I can get behind the idea the Knicks are the most complete team in the East. However, a fully healthy Knicks team, regardless of what I want to think, couldn’t be “unbeatable”. Even if the Cavaliers don’t perform, you still got Giannis and the Bucks, an improved Magic and Hawks squad, Detroit, and maybe even Philly or Boston.
