Fitted to the Game NCAA Top 15 Rankings
Kansas As solid as they come, Jalen Wilson and Grady Dick have this team on a string, battle-tested with an impressive dominant win over Indiana over the weekend.
Purdue Is an undefeated team that is one more notable victory away from the number-one spot for me. The way that Zach Edey is playing ball right now is admirable! They might be the toughest problem in the Big 10.
Arizona This team is well-rounded, a deadly weapon behind the 3-point line, and gritty enough to win scrappy battles in the trenches.
Houston The Cougars have to be one of America's favorite teams at the moment. After a vigilant effort in the tournament last year Kelvin Sampson and company have shown they are the real deal.
UConn The Huskies are special because of the dominance it has at multiple positions. Jordan Hawkins is top 5, one of the purest scorers in the nation. Their versatility and force in the paint round them out in my top 5.
Virginia Such a talented group, of well-manicured guard-play out of the Cavaliers, they fell out of my top 5 after a loss to a very worthy opponent in the Houston Cougars over the weekend. Still one of my favorites in the ACC and the national dance.
Arkansas The Razorbacks have one of the most talented groups this season as Nick Smith plays, coming off an injury and Anthony Black continues to show the world that he is a lottery pick, this team is here to make history.
Alabama Brandon Miller’s stock just keeps rising. Though they suffered a heartbreaking loss to Gonzaga, this team is truly a contender in the SEC and for the national title.
Texas As a proud Longhorn fan, I have to say my ranking on them right now is mid. I can be brutally honest because I’ve been with this team for the long haul, through the good, bad, and indifferent. We had a pretty good showing against PAC-12’s Stanford. Now looking to build a more impressive resume once we get into conference play.
Mississippi St. Is it time to put some respect on the bulldog's name? Going undefeated with a quality win over Utah ( the only team to beat Arizona to this point), We’ll see what this team is made of next week with conference battles against Alabama and Tennessee.
Baylor The Bears are quietly making a name this year. I think they suffered some growing pain like losses but overall I think this team will be a tough one to battle as a potential top-ten pick, Keyontae George leads this team into Big 12 conference play.
Duke Duke is slowly growing together, this is a team with 5 new impact freshmen and a new coach taking over full-time duties. Still, they are uber-talented. Proctor, Whitehead, Lively, Filipowski, and Roach are the reason the Blue Devils stay within my top-15.
Tennessee The Volunteers are a well-balanced group with the right amount of size, depth, and shooting ability to compete in the national spotlight. This Rick Barnes team just fell short in a rugged battle with Arizona that pushed them out of the top 10 for me. Still one of the nation's most dangerous teams.
Illinois They’re just special man, I really can’t put my finger on it but this team meshes well together. Terrance Shannon, Matt Mayer, and Coleman Hawkins blend well and could make some noise in the Big 10
Indiana I cannot sleep on this team because of their threat as shooters. They can pretty much stretch the floor from wherever. Now that they have been battle-tested suffering three tough losses to Kansas, Arizona, and a scrappy Rutgers team we will see how the Hoosiers adjust moving forward.
