Why the Thunder do it

The ability to actually move CP3, and if this doesn't move the needle, the pick can even be removed. As far as most within the NBA, moving CP3 requires at least 2 picks. Taking only one pick, and moving a bunch of expiring, along with team option players.

They add the following players to their roster:

• Marcus Morris ($15.0M, 1yrs remaining)

• Bobby Portis ($15.0M, 2yrs remaining)

• Wayne Ellington ($8.0M, 2yrs remaining)
