Why each team does it:

Knicks: Better fit. Lonzo and Ayo fill a lot of the knicks needs in terms of 3 and d and secondary creation. Lonzo in particular despite his health concerns is effectively derrick white lite when on the floor.

Bulls: they get decent draft capital back for Lonzo and Ayo plus 2 guys who I will explain now. terrance mann had a down year but was seen as a pretty legit 3 and d playe(hence the decent contract). He can slot into the starting lineup for the bulls and be a real POA guy who is a good rebounder and relatively efficient from the field. Dominick Barlow is another guy who has promise as a great defender but rarely got a chance to play. His g league splits are ver solid and is just another young piece to throw out there and see if you have smth. A first, a second, a real role player, and a cool young piece seems like good value for 2 bench players including one guy whose played 35 games in 3 years.

hawks: this pains me as a knicks fan to see hart go to the hawks, but I think he could be a perfect 6 man there helping them push the pace and wrecking havoc off the bench. Trae, dyson, zach, jalen, onyeka and then follow that up with Hart and maybe also levert if they resign him is a really good core.
