It looks crazy, but the Knicks would profit from this move. Mikal still has 2y left on his contract, which is less than $25m and would open a window for the Knicks to operate to build a championship team. I don't want to compare who is the better player, I would put them in the same tier, but Mikal was never injured in his career.
The Nets don't have this year's pick, so they get one & posible two protected in the future. & still get somethig for OG if they want to trade it in the future.
