Lets go thru each team briefly.
Starting off on the teams I care less about
Jazz: 2 potentially extremely valuable picks and 30 mil in expiring money for 2 guys on one year deals who are good. Pretty self explanatory. If Walker is worth 2 firsts and Sexton about 1, i think these these picks should be enough considering the legit lottery potential both of them have.
Pelicans: Make a legit playoff push. Losing Herb really sucks, but the goal here is to make one last buy in on zion by surrounding him with the perfect roster offensively. Herb is an uncertain and low volume 3 point shooter. McBride is can still be a very good defender for the Pels, but now you surround zion with shooters. McBride is 37% on volume, trey just had a career year, Kat needs no explanation(though that frontcourt is gonna be scary in a bad way on defense) and guys like Hawkins and Olynyk are still around. Point Zion is the way, and this team would effectively be the reincarnation of the light the beam kings but just in a different playstyle. I think Pels consider making a splash like this cause of new ownership.
Knicks: Imo the hardest to convince. The positives here are getting depth, an insane defensive identity, as well as cap flexibility and a maybe valuable future pick. But ofc, you lose your second star and Mcbride is the teams most willing shooter. Lets focus on the positives for now. Elite wing rotation with 2 elite rim protecting centers. Sexton is your secondary ball handler and the defensive infrastructure should allow him and brunson to play together sometimes. All of Herb, Og, and Mikal have shown bouts(Mikal more than other) of good on ball play and pnr play offensively. This trade relies trust on Mikal or Og to take a legit leap(like Og was doing at end of season). Knicks only do this if the dont believe a kat/brunson combo can succeed with this infrastructure(which I can see arguments for and against).
I'm curious if you guys think the pels and jazz say yes here, I understand if you think the Knicks say no
