Maybe Im delusional, but I can't really find anything wrong with this trade.

Knicks: Go hard on depth and defense. Starting lineup becomes Brunson, Mikal, Og, Pj, Poetl with the bench as Lonzo, Mcbride, hart, and Mitch(and then Shamet and the sophomore players to fill out 14 man roster). Extremely deep 9 man team where really every guy on our bench would start for about half the teams in the league. Offense certainly becomes more of an issue, but Pj is a pretty good shot creator and Lonzo will be able to play alongside brunson as a great passer and pace pusher, as well as a great defender(even if its limited minutes). They also get the first back because I compared this Kat trade to last year kat trade. Rj<Randle, Poetl=>Donte, therefore instead of protected pick full pick(which should be at best a mid rounder anyway. I really like this new knicks team, especially if the rookies can develop into real players. Knicks also get under the tax here I believe which is pretty fucking ridiculous.

Raptors: Build around Scottie. They just traded for BI, and that wing spot will be cluttered, especially with a non spacing center. Getting kat and getting rid of Rj completely opens up the floor. The defense will struggle, but Scottie and Iq r both very good defenders and the raptors bench is full of lanky wings and tough defenders. I think they are more equipped to cover up Kat's weaknesses than the Knicks and Brunson. Poetl is replaced by Kat and that pick shouldn't be too valuable if they believe in their team.

Mavs: They don't get a point guard, but they get a secondary creator with size who can fill in for Kyrie a bit while hes injured and play next to him or as a super 6-man. Pj and Gafford largely become obsolte with the additinos of AD and Flagg, so losing these guys and getting a protected pick back should be a great deal.

Bulls: Finally get a rim protecting and lob threat center. Vuc is 34 and gonna just get worse on both sides of the ball. Gafford is the replacement. Losing Lonzo blows but hes played 35 games in 3 years, getting a reliable center is worth giving up your backup pg when you have already committed assets to Giddy and Coby(and guys like Ayo and even Dalen Terry). A protected first aint great but they've given up more before in worse deals, I don't think they should sweat this one too much in the weak East, should be mid-late teens at best.

Let me know where i went wrong, Im guess knicks fans will say Knicks don't do this. Im a knicks fan, I love kat, but hes extremely flawed even if he single-handedly won us games, Id do this.
