I go back and forth on trading Mitch because of how good he is when he plays and how he might be the best offensive rebounder in the league. But....between the injuries, load management and foul trouble (and his poor free throw shooting), I just feel like the Knicks need to prioritize shooting, which means starting Deuce and putting KAT at the 5 AND they need someone who can contribute every night. This trade would have to happen after December 15th due to the recently signed restriction on Schroder.

Kings: The Kings look like they're heading towards a rebuild and several players are reportedly available for trades. Schroder just lost his place in the starting lineup and given that they want to clear their books, his 3 year contract isn't a plus for him either. In this scenario, the Kings get Mitch who would instantly be their backup big man (if they still keep Sabonis) and as I said above, they'd get the best offensive rebounder in the league. He even posted an insane plus 40 the other night in limited minutes and is an amazing rim protector. They do have to deal with his injuries as well but he's on an expiring contract so they'd have the option to let him walk or sign him to a contract that works for them. They also get 2 young prospects in Dadiet and Kolek. Kolek has looked decent at PG and they'd actually have playing time to give to Dadiet. He's not really a positive asset but he also makes the money work.

Knicks: The Knicks have been off to a great start on offense but the second unit till lacks a PG who can lead the offense and Schroder gives them a great backup PG. While he's off to a rough start, he's always been dependable at PG and plays hard on defense as well. The Knicks would be lacking in the front court and have little room to get a player in return and get Raynaud who look decent in preseason and they'd hope can soak up some minutes alongside Hukporti. They need to fill one more spot but they've made more room and could sign someone on the buyout market to either get a more dependable center or a wing. Depth chart below:
