There's a ton of Knicks trades with Mitch out there right now so I was trying to add something new. I don't think this is exactly likely and I think that the Warriors and Bulls parts are the weakest but I'll try to explain below why it might work.
Knicks: The Knicks case is fairly straightforward and something I've covered in previous trades. They take a chance on Landale and hope that his Olympics performance and his games towards the end of last season are the real him. He'd be a true backup so it's not a like for like replacement for Mitch. It's more of a depth play to make sure they have true and capable (if not spectacular) players at center. They also get a wing in Moses Moody who's never really got much play at Golden State. With his size, he can man either the 3 or 4 (perhaps even the 2) and gives them more depth there after they lost Donte. The Knicks hope they can unlock his potential as his stat line won't blow anyone away. They only give up a second rounder to get this done as well.
Rockets: Same as my last trade, it's a gamble but probably one worth taking for them. They can afford to take on his salary and Landale probably wasn't going to get much if any playing time now the Eason and Adams are healthy and also that Jabari Smith Jr. is playing some center as well. If it hits, they get one of the best rim protectors in the NBA and they can also afford to wait for him to get there, unlike the Knicks who would need a healthy Mitch.
Warriors: This one is tough because it sees a couple of Warriors stalwarts leaving in Payton and Looney. However the Warriors have been open to moving Payton for a while now and Looney had a rough time last season. Having a stretch big like Vucevic could help unlock Green and Kuminga. He's not great at defense but he's on a semi-decent contract with only 2 years remaining. They still keep all of their picks and Wiggins who could be a future trade candidate. They finally cut loose Moody, but it's hard to see his path to playing time as they brought on so many SGs and SFs over the offseason. Vucevic gives them another scorer on offense and they could utilize the defense of Kuminga and Green to cover for his deficiencies in that area.
Bulls: This is probably the hardest case to make as I think the Bulls would want more for Vucevic. But at the same time, there's really not much (if any) of a market for him. He's over 30, and had and up and down season. At his best, he can go out there and rebound and score but it's hard to get that from him. This sees the Bulls shed some salary, add a couple of players who they could either flip or let their contracts expire and who would at least be great locker room guys to help the rookies and younger players in the rebuild. They only get 2 second rounders but again, there's not much of a market out there and Knicks fans might not even like my re-routing of the pick to the Bulls to make this happen.
