This trade makes more sense than the utah one, I think Dallas and new york would consider this New Yorks healthy starting 5 stays the same and davis can play the 4 with mitch which is what he wants dallas gets a player who plays much more games and they stay in contention or at least dont get instantly ass and a young pg New yorks defense also greatly improves and I would argue becomes on of the best in the league and while there offense will not be as good as davis obviously does not shoot the ball at the same level as towns that defense he provides shld be enough to make up for it the only thing that new york would be concerned about would be health so there is definitely a gamble there but healthy a team with davis is better than a team with towns. For Dallas, there offense immediately becomes much better with the spacing that KAT provides to a team that really just has two bigs that play the same role on the team. But Dallas should also win some more regular-season games so they can push for that top 6 seed or at least top 10 to make the play-in and try to commpete obv there will prob be picks involved somehow but I lowkey don't know if either team would want to give up picks maybe dallas would give NY a 2nd or sum or NY wld give dallas a 2nd but i dont see a 1st round pick being used in this trade as i see it as relatively even as new york while getting better is getting one of if not the most injury prone player itl while dallas which wld lowkey get a lil worse gets a player who plays much more games and can be called on more consistently.
