Brooklyn Nets:
Nets acquire a young PG in Cole Anthony, who can be the new starting PG moving forward for their rebuilding team. He is on a nice cheap 3 yr deal and will get the opportunity to prove his ability to lead a team in Brooklyn.
Orlando Magic:
Magic acquire Dennis Schroeder to unite him with his German teammates, the Wagner Brothers. Their great chemistry and team play, as displayed in the Olympics, may translate over and help elevate the Magic team as a whole. Schroeder could play as a starter or back up PG for the Magic.
Magic also receives 2 future SRPs: ‘28 MEM 2nd and ‘29 DAL 2nd to compensate for giving up a talented young guard on a good contract in Cole Anthony.
Is this a realistic and fair scenario for both sides? Would both Nets and Magic fans want this trade to happen?
