This started with me thinking the Magic could use Marcus Smart since he's a defensive-oriented PG, he's the type of hustle piece you need on a team like this, would be a great lockerroom fit, but only on a [significantly] smaller contract since the money didn't work. So imagine you could change his contract this year somehow, & the lineup looks like Jamal/Marcus/Anthony Black at PG, Bane at the 2, Franz at the 3, Paolo at the 4, Mo Wagner/Goga/Sarr at 5 slot. That'd be a solid team, not that they aren't already. I just think Jamal/Marcus would help tremendously... although I see how losing Isaac/Suggs hurts their D & depth. Overall tho, the addition of Sarr would make it worth it for the long-term, and in the short-term, I think they'd be more successful with Marcus & Jamal Murray.
