Mavs get a 3rd scorer/wing playmaker. Not much to say here, I just think Bogdan has incredible potential slotting in at the 2 or the 3, starting or coming off the bench. His flexibility is a huge add for the Mavs who desperately need a tertiary wing playmaker who can play off of Luka/Kyrie but also create for themselves and others (especially vs second units). The extra cap room enables them to resign Derrick Jones Jr. using the MLE.

Hawks get 7mil of cap space and 2 players on expiring deals that play positions of need (depth chart wise) for this coming year, plus 2 second rounders (the TOR one will be quite good, Boston's is #60). That's 39mil of cap space for next year! You could argue this is selling low on Bogdan, but you have to factor in just how messed up ATL's cap situation is and I'm not sure Bogdan's market is as big as some seem to believe. I think ATL prioritizes the flexibility that picks and cap room afford over squeezing every last drop out of his market value.

Hornets get Josh Green + Capela. Josh fits their timeline and playstyle, plays well with Melo/Miller from the get-go, and his contract is team-friendly for a young player with a ton of upside. Capela walks next year or comes back w/ a better deal for the team; the Hornets center position currently lacks size, rim protection, and atheleticism all of which Capela addresses. A year from now, at worst this boils down to Bertans for Green straight up which is great value.
