It’s no secret the Mavs need a big wing with defensive prowess and rebuilding ability. Enter Jerami Grant. He’s as great an off the ball option as THJ and even better off the dribble. In THJ’s role , he would provide much better defense and presence on the boards. Is he worth a first round pick though? I am not sure the THJ+Holmes package alone moves the needle but adding a first may get it done. Is he more expensive than this deal or is this a reach considering his contract value and length?
