Hawks
Even after the Collins move, Atlanta still has relatively bloated books long term since they have to extend Murray and some of their young prospects soon. So here they choose to dump a player in Hunter who has a significant amount of long term money for an expirting contract in Hayward. Between Griffin, Bey, Johnson, and Hayward ATL has plenty of options left to replace Hunter's role.
Hornets
Charlotte uses Haywards expiring to bring in a less injury prone vet who can provide spacing for their young team and allow Miller, Bridges, and Washington more minutes at the wing. They also pick up an additional 2nd round pick. They would also get a stead vet at the wing who can help mentor some of their young talent there or they could flip him for additional assets.
Clippers
The Clippers use Zubac to take on a worse player in Holmes but acquire two additional draft assets to use in their pursuit of James Harden, while also shedding some salary.
Mavericks
The Mavs pick up the last two pieces needed for this offseason here. They acquire another bigger wing to pair with Grant Williams to put the finishing touches on improving the perimeter defense. The Mavs also bring in Zubac to bridge the gap before Lively is ready to start. He can help fix the rebounding issue and provide some size and scoring inside. THJ can be replaced with a combo of Curry and Hardy. McGee could then be waive and stretched to open up the majority of the MLE to sign another wing for depth. A starting 5 of Luka-Kyrie-Williams-Hunter-Zubac is a big upgrade over the end of last season, and the depth behind them would be greatly improved.
