Based on re-signing Kyrie & staying at 10 in the draft

Objectives - sign High quality, defensively minded role players to complement Luka & Kyrie. Prioritising starting center and multiple wings.

Trade 1 - No.10 & Bertans to Nets for Doe Doe, Patty Mills, No. 21 & 22 from the draft. Why would Nets do it? - They get off Long term money in Doe, Patty seems to be obsolete in new build + they get the Top 10 pick. Bertans contract is $5m in 2024, so represents another money decrease next year.

Trade 2 - Hardaway Jr for Okoro, Cedi & Lamar Stevens. Why do it? In isolation, Cavs might 'win the trade' but Mavs take a swing on Okoro and can use the expiring contracts of Cedi & Stevens in other moves.

Trade 3 - Trade 1 of the Nets picks to Washington for Gafford. Wiz get expiring of Cedi & eat McGee's contract. (Could offer Okoro or Green instead of Cedi if absolutely necessary).

Mavs still have No. 22 in the draft and take another rebounding wing/big - Clowney, Holmes, Rupert, Coulibaly, Miller, Nnaji, Filipowski.
