I really love Kyrie, but currently it looks like the Mavs are going to trade him. Many Teams are interested in him and he still got a solid value.

Wolves get AntMan some help in Kyrie

Charlotte gets rid of two bad contracts and picks up Gafford for their Center Rotation w Diabate and Klay Thompson for spacing of the bench Even though the Klay and Gafford contracts arent really good either, they are still better than the other two + plus they get another 2026 FRP

Dallas looses kyrie unfortunately but they get probably the best compensation they can get. Gafford has been on the trade block (at least for the fans) since Cooper Flagg came and Klay wants to compete and is not a tank player. He can still win games and that makes him valuable for Contenders.

Most importantly the Mavs can get their own 27 FRP and are able to give Flagg and the other young players some more time. Donte will be out for probably the whole season and than a UFA. Naz Reid is probably the perfect Back up for Lively/PJ as a Floor Spacer on the 4 or a Smallball Big.

I really think this trade makes sense if you want to move on from kyrie
