I put this trade up here as the first of two trade options I've seen floating around to see what people think. From my perspective as a Mavs fan I wouldn't be upset over this, I also wouldn't be jumping for joy either. The Piston's will probably be good for years to come so the draft picks probably won't be great but it'll be nice to have some at least. Maybe Ivey rounds back into his pre broken leg form and can be a good rotation player for the Mavs going forward. For the Piston's the 3pt shooting would be a huge question mark but nobody would be able to score on this team and they'd dominate the glass. Maybe if they think this would secure them the East they'd be willing to take the risk on AD's health.
