Dallas trade Danniel Gafford for Derrick Jones Jr. &. 2 SRPs

Dallas gets a massive cap relief from Gafford's contract and add DJ Jr. to their rotation.

Gafford doesn't fit with Cooper Flagg and they can sign Peyton Watson for a 4yr/$88m deal and play him as their starting 2. They get 2 SRPs which they can use to do small moves to slightly improve their roster. As well they can look how Jones plays for them and then maybe sign him to a long term deal in 2027 (if he stays healthy).

In addition to that they trade their #9 pick to Oklahoma for #12 and #17 and select:

• Cameron Carr at #12

• Morez Johnson, Quaintance, Morez Johnson or Yaxel at #17

Carr is for me an absolute sleeper in the draft and has potential to end up as a Top 5 player in the draft.

At #17 you pick a player for front court depth. You still have Lively, PJ and Cisse. Maybe you bring back Bagley as well who played very good last season.

The Depth would look like this:

• PG: Irving/ Nembhard

• SG: Watson/ Carr/ Christie/ Klay ( one of Klay or Christie gets traded, preferably Klay )

• SF: Flagg/ Naji/ Derrick Jones Jr.

• PF: PJ Washington/ Bagley/ #17/ Caleb Martin

• C: Lively/ Cisse

There would be 1 more Roster Spot for a Center Back UP, maybe Bitadze, Wagner or Bryant ( but they will bring back Powell).

The Warriors get Gafford and the Clippers Kristaps Porzingis who will start over Niederhauser
