Four-Team Deal

SUCCESS

Warriors: They decide that they have a better shot at a championship with Anthony Davis than with Draymond and Kuminga. They want out of the Kuminga business, and they're willing to test out a core of Steph/Jimmy/AD.

Mavericks: They get a tall PG in Ball who can play an exciting brand of basketball with Cooper Flagg. Ball and Irving should both be able to play off the ball, and Ball's height allows Irving to guard PGs. They can kick the tires on Kuminga and either pick up his option for next year or decline his option and treat his deal like an expiring contract. This can allow the Mavs to clear significant cap room and avoid being a 2nd apron team.

Hornets: They upgrade their center position with Gafford and exchange Ball for a guy who was a UNC standout in Coby White. They can afford to pay Coby his new contract this summer.

Bulls: They don't receive any draft pick compensation for White, but they're able to shed Williams' contract, and Draymond will become an expiring contract next year and a potentially valuable trade piece. This trade allows the Bulls to have even more money to spend in the 2026 and 2027 offseasons.
