So mavs don’t have a Offensive problem, the only proble they’ve is that they don’t have long defenders that can guard POA or the paint. Also their bigs are bad rebounders. So they bolster this keeping in mind:

They S&T Wood to Raptors for Poetl idk how much Poetl like Canada but he’s been in Texas so I’m sure he would think about it too as we’ve 2 top10 players too in our squad.
Sign Jalen McDaniels to play 4 as the defensive wing. I think getting him at TMLE is very much possible and he’ll start for us too. He’s not a very good 3pt shooter but neither was DFS and he developed into one of the best 3&D players in Dallas. McDaniels can have that role at Mavs.
This is the interesting flyer and that’s to trade for Ben Simmons(nets clearly do not want him and want to get rid of him in any way possible) with that THJ+Bertans+Mcgee contract BUT only if we’re getting Yuta + 2029 FRP back & one more FRP that we can use as leverage to get Poetl for a S&T with raptors. I think Ben is broken but he’s still one of the good defenders in the league and can still handle the rock. He won’t have to do a lot with Luka & kyrie and just focus on Rebounding and use his playmaking whenever either of luka and kyrie gets doubled when he set the screen for them.
Fire Jason Kidd and get Ime Udoka as the HC. The thing is Kidd don’t know what his lineups are, run the same plays and there isn’t any ball movements. Ime would bring all those things with a clear great dawg basketball mind.

I think we’ve enough star power-defending on the wings and presence in the paint to make big noise the next season ONLY IF KYRIE RESIGNS, these theories can be implemented and could be possible.
