Mavericks Land Khris Middleton
Mavericks Receive:
Khris Middleton
If Middleton gets healthy and returns to form, he’s exactly the type of player they need. To be specific, he’s a strong 3-and-D wing who can create his own shot. Middleton’s off-ball gravity will count for the most with Luka Doncic and Irving in the backcourt, but he can also take over games for spells when those two are resting.

Two First-Round Picks
First-Round Pick Swap
The Bucks would only do this deal if they didn’t win an NBA title this season. Let’s assume that they don’t. Middleton is due for a contract extension this summer. He’s also aging, injury prone, and possibly in decline. How much can the Bucks afford to pay him? It may be time to move on. If it is, the Bucks would have to accept this package. They’re getting a lot for a player who’s aging, injury prone, and possibly in decline.
