Unfortunately another Herbert Jones Trade...His fit and salary just work too well for what the Mavericks can offer. The other big wing in Cam Johnson would require more moving parts and Gafford to be included...I don't suggest the Nets are looking for a starting Center having Claxton. Although a Gafford destination for either Warriors, Lakers or Pelicans could work a treat...Something to work with further.

Steven Adams is absolutely a stab in the dark, If Mavericks do let Gafford go...If Rockets are willing to take on younger talent and Klebers contract for more shooting, it could be something to consider.

I don't see Mavericks being able to offer more than two Firsts, Gafford and a Replacement Wing in Omax to develop as they Tank. I find it's fair especially considering Jones is injured for at least six months. Gafford and Jones both have Long term, team friendly deals.

Hardy and Omax are valuable young pieces but Mavericks are in Win-Now Mode. Although they're emerging, It's time to cash in and push, Especially after a surprising Finals Run last Year after the trade deadline with acquiring PJ & Gafford, Changed the whole team.

Now it's the challenge of Seeing which team would most value Gafford trade; The Lakers seem the most interested but as usual willing to give up the least for him.

The Warriors could be an interesting destination if we can get a backup replacement.

The Pelicans make the most sense due to salary and Team Need. Deep Draft and Mavs 2025 could end up being very valuable especially if we don't turn this ship around with Injuries.
