This is a hypothetical scenario I came up with.

THIS IS NOT THE ACTUAL TRADE

I genuinely think it's time for the Grizzlies to trade Ja. He's been injury prone and had bad character. They're starting to find gems like people like Vince and while Ja and Jaren (mainly ja) is still young I still think if they can get maximum value for Ja, they might find themselves trying to get a good return for him and I think they can put themselves in position for a fantastic rebuild.

Scenario starts:

Mavericks trade Tim Hardaway Jr for Gary Harris and a 2025 1st round pick to the Magic.

Mavericks let Gary Harris sign with another team during 2024's free agency moratorium. They resign Jones Jr to a 3yr/20million contract and send Holmes to Washington or Charlotte for one 2nd round pick.

Mavericks then trade:

2025 first (magic)

2025 first (mavericks)

Olivier Maxense-Prosper

Jaden Hardy

2027 first (mavericks)

2031 first (mavericks)

Grizzlies trade:

Jaren Jackson Jr

now im not too familiar with the spurs pick but if they trade those said players in the trade along with 6 1st round picks I believe it's enough to get Ja
