Kyrie is great with the Mavs but the Mavs are lacking in the defensive aspect of the game with the 28th ranked defense but with a top 5 offense. In this trade the Mavs trade Kyrie back to Brooklyn for Mikal a great 3&D guy, DFS a great wing who can mentor Omax, Sharpe a backup big and Dinwiddie who can be the electric guard off the bench to run the offense like in the 2021-22 season.

Nets take on Holmes' and Maxi's contracts for a very valuable unprotected first, a great young guard in Jaden Hardy, a second round pick, and the big number one guy they need Kyrie Irving.
