Obviously this is a steal for the Mavericks in terms of the players being exchanged (although Tim Hardaway Jr. seems to thrive with Rick Carlisle as head coach) but would the draft compensation be sufficient to at least have the Pacers interested. Considering Myles Turner is an expiring contract and you'd have to hope to resign him at the end of next season. If you wanted to throw in the Mavs 2022 1st round pick it would just have to be on draft night with the Mavs drafting the Pacers preferred option at 26 and immediately including that person in the trade.
I think this would help stiffen up the Mavs lineup and I'm going to assume the Mavs resign Jalen Brunson considering they've already said they're going to go into "tax hell" next year.
