Trade Explanation

In Dallas, Turner's first order of business would be helping the club's 25th-ranked defense to stop hemorrhaging points. The Mavs have more issues on that end than one player can solve, but he'd still be excellent protection behind their leaky perimeter stoppers. Since entering the league in 2015-16, his 1,124 blocks rank second to Rudy Gobert, a three-time Defensive Player of the Year.
