The Mavs get Spacing and a Elite Shotmaker and Creator + good value for AD, despite not getting a young player or pick
Dallas: MPJ, Carter, SRP --> The Mavs need spacing and AD ist a bad fit in their offensive system. Even without him the defense is still good (Flagg, PJ, Marshall, Christie, Gafford, Lively, Martin) and they could improve their offense. Flagg gets more space to operate in the paint and Gafford gets more value in the paint. As well a 2RP in 29 from the bulls in the trade.

Grade B The Mavs really want a young asset or high FRP in a AD Trade Package, but adding MPJ and going Win Now next Season is a good option, too. They would still pick Top 10 (Adam Silver do your thing) this season and be able to contend with Flagg, Kyrie and MPJ with many defensive options on the Team. But they have just one Chance for a future CO-Star vor Cooper Flagg (2026 FRP), wich could make this Trade potentially a mistake in the future.
Bulls: AD, Mann --> The Bulls are definitely interested in in acquiring AD. With their ambitions going down the drain and them loosing more and more they need a Win Now move. Vucevic lacks in defense and is getting more and more inconsistent. Coby White never really came back from his injury and doesn't have the time to get confidence with them trying to win every game. Zach Collins is nearly out of rotation.
Grade C The Bulls give up 2 FRP and don't know if this move turns out well. AD is very injury prone and getting older, but in combination with Giddey and a lot of shooting around him they could make 2-3 deep Play off runs.
Nets: Vucevic, White, Collins, 2FRP --> It is no mystery that MPJ is on the Trade Block and nets are looking for a good package to get some Picks for him. With Vuc and Collins they get two expiring contracts and could use that money for sining players in FA this summer and trade them midseason for picks away. Also they get the Bulls 26 FRP and a Top 5 Protected in 2029. Despite the Picks they get Coby White who could take MPJ s minutes and Usage to develop and get a valuable asset in a rebuild or on the Trade Market. Coby White is eligible for an extension this summer and nets could resign him with him being Restricted.
Grade A- The package for MPJ is really good, it might not be the best available but still a good one. They get Picks and a Player in exchange that could be worth 1-2 FRP next season, when he plays again like he used to before his injury. This Trade Package is similar to the Cam Johnson, MPJ one. As well they get rid of the bad Terance Mann contract.
