Trading for Isaac is a risk due to his availability, for sure. But an even bigger risk for the Mavs is to just stay put with their defenders as they did until now with “our offense is our defense”, this team will never ever go all the way (unless shooting 65% on 70 3 point attempts per game through the playoffs). However, I do strongly believe that this trade being a good fit relies strongly on PJ becoming a consistent shooter (yikes) and Lively starting to shoot just a little bit (his shoots are falling down great in practice, but we have yet to see it in-game). But the mavs could just do with an improved defense and Isaac is one of the best defenders in NBA when healthy. Luka and Kyrie are still an offensive powerhouse like no other and if PJ can get to being a consistent 17 ppg scorer with a consistently solid 3, this trade would create a new true contender in the West. A lot of ifs, but thats why we are fans.

The Magic need a shooter and THJ basically is that. He is inconsistent at times, but he is a shooter that spreads the offensive floor for the Magic and provides more spacing (without doubt, one ot their needs). OMAX is a very nice prospect and should fit in the magic sistem nicely
