Horrible contracts that ruined NBA teams playoff runs.

  1. Jalen Suggs

Jalen Suggs was a big disaster in the playoffs and he is extremely overpaid but atleast it isn't going to be $35M every year since his contract regresses to $26M until it expires eventually. But his stats are no excuse in the playoffs since he literally had the same playoff games shooting under 10% than shooting above 40% from the field which is no joke. He was terrible and tragic and maybe he is the reason the Pistons won game 6 and 7 in the first place. We just will never know if he will ever improve on his outside shot or help other teams win in a negative way, we'll see if he will get traded as well.

  1. Christian Braun

A disaster class of a contract being paid 5 years $125M for not being able to handle the ball and shoot is terrible. He literally got dominated by the Timberwolves defense on all levels. He may get traded this offseason due to the pathetic playoff stats he put up only shooting wise. I wonder why the Nuggets thought it would be good giving a rookie max extension for a non all star like player or a reliable role player. Just look how Dyson Daniels, Shaedon Sharpe and Jabari Smith Jr. turned out since they are going into it next season and have there parts despite their flaws. Braun cannot fix it really after coming back from injury. We'll see how he will end up next year in a Nuggets uniform or not.

  1. Julius Randle

Julius Randle cannot play in the playoffs like a no.2 option worse than Ayo Dosounmu in the playoffs. Cannot do anything and was a $hit show out there with no jumpshot in any form at all. The entire playoffs are things Randle cannot handle like if Randle was wifi where's his router? Couldn't help Ant to anything besides a conference finals appearance which were terrible outtings of stats from Randle himself. This is why the Knicks gave up on him for Kat who is way better at everything Randle can't do efficiently. Just trade him for Giannis, Ja, Jaylen Brown or Kyrie out of desperation already. I am afraid his time with the franchise is done.

  1. MPJ

MPJ in the 2024 and 2025 2nd round stats were terrible shooting under 40% from the field and under 30% from 3 on both playoff runs against OKC and Minnesota. Which destroyed his 5 year $179M dollar deal to $hit. Under 10 PPG also btw for both playoff series's. Which is why they traded him for Cam Johnson anyways which was a good move if MPJ wasn't in a tanking environment. Atleast he will play differently now atleast I guess. But this will haunt him forever and how everyone who played with him hates him.

  1. Kyrie Irving

During the 2022 playoffs, they were title favorites in game 1 he was actually good but the rest of the series he shot under 40% from the field and 20% from 3. Which is how Boston destroyed them on all levels during the series. The Nets haven't recovered since then. Atleast Kyrie redeemed himself just 2 years later with Luka.

  1. Dorian Finney Smith

His 3 PPG stats made him the biggest unplayable NBA player ever this year shooting terribly with pathetic dog$hit disgusting 33.3-27-88 splits. This clearly gone well since his contract took more cap space then ever and literally he averaged less PPG than the points I scored from gym basketball yesterday which was 8 points on 3/6 shooting. This $hit is funnier as can be. Wow LOL man. Just imagine for an NBA player to play this bad.

  1. Brandon Ingram

Brandon Ingram in the 2024 and 2026 playoffs was an absolute disaster of only 9 combined games played. Averaging empty stats numbers, under 40% from the field just like Bradley Beal absolutely concealed. Brandon Ingram was literally playing like he didn't eat 3 meals. He is literally the 99 cent store version of KD lets just be real he's overpaid and overrated.

  1. Shaedon Sharpe

After many years of no playoffs, Shaedon was a vital part averaging 21 PPG but was pretty inconsistent and averaged pretty bad points on the playoffs averaging just 7.2 PPG that is it for an empty stats guy when Deni wasn't there anyways. But he still did his part but in the playoffs he just didn't live to expectations. Despite going into a rookie extension starting next year.

  1. Paul George

During the bubble and this 2nd round matchup against the Knicks he literally $hit the bed and did nothing much even though he had his moments throughout these playoff runs. His inconsistencies made him a liability especially in the 1st round against Dallas 2020. Paul George we all would know why and he is quite overpaid with his massive contract.

  1. J.R Smith

We all know why this is the case because he was regressing on a 4 year $57M which was not that overpaid but the chokejob against the Warriors game 1 is why he is here.
