I know this was just a popular theory...

People used to think that Jimmy Butlers dad was Michael Jordan since they had a very similar story to Jordans personal life but in recent film "Starting 5" Butler mentioned that his dad passed away in the 2023-24 season. rip. He died on February 8th according to sources I found and that is now why Jimmy took time away for a couple games after his loss of his father. I am confused about this since it has been stated that his dad left him when he an infant so I do not know why he was this mad (in my opinion). obviously losing a family member is hard but i was kinda suprised and to lose someone who left you and clearly didnt care about you and your family and to be upset is i dont even know what to say.
