Welcome back to my journey, this week there are 4 games and i will be able yo play in all of them! We have games on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
(On the bus ride to the Tuesday game)
Coach Gelmer: Tonight we play the 12-0 Cambridge Prep, the only remaining undefeated team.
8-5 Kingston High goes to the 12-0 Cambridge High. The atmosphere is electric as the undefeated giants come to town. Arnie is on the bench in his team warmups, providing a massive emotional boost with his cheering.
(The game begins)
First Quarter:
Cambridge Prep plays like a machine. They have a 6'10 center with good dribble moves and two elite guards who move the ball with surgical precision. They jump out to an 8-point lead. However, your presence at the "Point Center" position creates a matchup nightmare they haven't seen. You drive through their double-teams and kick the ball out to Sawyer, who is now playing with the confidence of an elite sniper. Arnie is off the bench for every bucket, keeping the energy high.
Kingston High: 22 (I have 6 pts, 4 ast, 3 reb)
Cambridge High: 25
Second Quarter (Halftime)
The battle in the paint turns physical. Cambridge tries to bully you, but at 220lbs, you hold your ground. You record 4 blocks in this quarter alone, one of which you swat directly toward Arnie on the bench, who goes wild. On offense, the "super team friendly" style is at its peak. Every player is touching the ball. Sawyer hits three consecutive triples, and you finish the half with a thunderous alley-oop dunk that brings the house down.
Kingston High: 46 (I have 15 pts, 7 ast, 6 reb, 4 blk)
Cambridge Prep: 44
Third Quarter:
Cambridge shows why they are 12-0. They come out of the half with a full-court press that rattles your teammates. Kingston commits three quick turnovers, and Cambridge goes on a 12-2 run. You have to take over. You score 14 points straight for Kingston—two threes, three layups, and two free throws. You are breathing heavy, but every time you look at Arnie on the bench, he’s screaming for one more stop. You dive into the bleachers for a loose ball to show your team you aren't backing down.
Kingston High: 65 (I have 29 pts, 8 ast, 9 reb)
Cambridge Prep: 71
Fourth Quarter (Final Score)
The final 10 minutes are a classic. With 2 minutes left, Cambridge leads 85-80. You block their center's shot, grab the rebound, and sprint the full length of the court for a layup plus the foul. You sink the free throw. 85-83. In the final 30 seconds, Sawyer hits a corner three to put Kingston up 86-85. Cambridge misses their next shot, and you secure the rebound. You are fouled and hit both free throws. Cambridge has one last chance to tie with a three-pointer, but you use your 6'6" frame to contest the shot, forcing an airball as the buzzer sounds!
Final Score:
Kingston High: 88
Cambridge Prep: 85
I have 38 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists. 5 steals, and 6 blocks
Kingston High moves to 9-5 and hand Cambridge Prep their first L off the season bumping them to 12-1
(Tuesday the game against 8-7 Point Hill who have the Nationally ranked #1 SF Geo Hill who will be guarding Sawyer (Geo is an elite defende) THE GAME BEGINS)
First Quarter:
The game starts with a cold spell for the ages. Sawyer misses three open looks, and your shooting guard airballs two layups. Realizing your teammates are struggling with the pressure of Geo Hill's defense, you take over. You score all 14 of Kingston's points using your 220lb frame to bully Point Hill's interior. You are a one-man wrecking crew, but Point Hill’s balanced attack keeps them ahead.
Kingston High: 14 (I have 14 pts)
Point Hill: 20
Second Quarter (Halftime)
The "super team friendly" offense creates open looks, but it’s a nightmare—your teammates go 0-for-12 from the field this quarter. Sawyer is 0-for-7, visibly shaken by Geo Hill's length. You have no choice but to stop passing. You drive, you post up, and you put back offensive rebounds. You score 18 points in the quarter. Every time you score, Point Hill looks at your teammates and laughs. Arnie is on the bench, stunned by the shooting slump.
Kingston High: 32 (I have all 32 pts)
Point Hill: 42
Third Quarter:
Point Hill realizes the strategy: "Let Marco get his, stop everyone else." They play a "box-and-one" where four players stay in a zone and Geo Hill shadows Sawyer. You face three defenders every time you touch the ball. You manage to score 16 points through sheer force of will, including four dunks and six free throws. Your teammates are playing hard on defense, but offensively, they are ghosts.
Kingston High: 48 (I have all 48 pts)
Point Hill: 58
Fourth Quarter (Final Score)
10:00 - 5:00:
The quarter starts with Kingston playing terrible offense. Sawyer airballs a wide-open layup, and your power forward accidentally passes the ball to the referee. However, the energy on the other end is terrifying. Your teammates, perhaps feeling guilty about their 0-for-35 shooting, play the most "lockdown defense" in school history. They dive for every loose ball and shadow Point Hill’s Geo Hill so closely he can’t even breathe. You score 6 straight points to cut the lead.
Score: Kingston 54, Point Hill 58
5:00 - 2:00:
The defensive intensity reaches a fever pitch. Point Hill hasn't scored a basket in over four minutes. They are visibly rattled, committing three straight shot-clock violations because your teammates won't give them an inch of space. On offense, Sawyer misses two more three-pointers (now 0-for-20), but you are there to clean up the glass. You grab three offensive rebounds in one possession and finally hammer home a dunk.
Score: Kingston 58, Point Hill 58
2:00 - 0:10:
Point Hill finally gets a free throw to go in, breaking their drought. 58–59. Your teammates continue to play "horrendous offense," turning the ball over twice in a row, but they immediately make up for it with two massive steals. With 15 seconds left, you take the ball at the top of the key. You drive through a triple-team, get hit in the face, and somehow scoop the ball in. And-1! You calmly sink the free throw.
Score: Kingston 61, Point Hill 59
0:10 - 0:00:
Point Hill has one last chance. Geo Hill tries to drive, but your teammates surround him like a swarm of bees. He’s forced to kick it out to a shooter, but you fly out of nowhere to block the shot into the stands! Point Hill gets the ball back with 1.2 seconds left. They inbound for a layup, but your teammates provide a "lockdown" wall, forcing a wild miss as the buzzer sounds.
Final Score:
Kingston High: 61
Point Hill: 59
I have 61 points, 28 rebounds, 0 assists, 7 steals, and 8 blocks
Kingston Hill moves to 10-5, and Point Hill to 8-8
(Post game)

Coach Gelmer: No practice tomorrow, get rest and on Friday BALL OUT
Team: YES COACH!!!
(Friday we arrive at the 3-13 Coleyville High)
Tonight we have the 10-5 Kingston High taking on the struggling 3-13 Coleyville High. Your team is confident following a dramatic win, you are fully healthy and dominating as the point center, and Arnie is cheering from the bench. Coleyville has the unique distinction of being the only team without a single top 250 rated player in Jamaica, making this a true mismatch.
(The game begins)
First Quarter:
Coleyville High plays a cautious game, hoping to slow the pace, but your athleticism is too much. You control the tip and sprint down the floor for an easy dunk. You are everywhere, grabbing defensive rebounds and initiating the offense yourself. Coleyville's defense is porous, lacking size and skill. You score 18 points in the quarter, and Sawyer shakes off his shooting slump, adding two three-pointers. Kingston builds a massive early lead.
Kingston High: 34 (I have 18 pts, 6 reb, 3 ast)
Coleyville High: 8
Second Quarter (Halftime)
The game quickly turns into a showcase for your team's "super team friendly" offense. Without any elite talent to disrupt the flow, the ball hums around the court. You continue to dominate inside, but now you are finding open cutters and kick-outs with ease. Your teammates, previously poor play, they now look like a well oiled machine, hitting open shots and playing solid team defense. By halftime, the game is a complete blowout.
Kingston High: 60 (I have 30 pts, 12 reb, 8 ast, 4 blk)
Coleyville High: 18
Third Quarter:
With an insurmountable lead, Coach Gelmer rests the starters for the entire quarter. The bench players take over and maintain the defensive intensity. Even without their stars, the team manages the game effectively against the overmatched Coleyville squad. The scoreboard continues to tick over in favor of Kingston High.
Kingston High: 74
Coleyville High: 28
Fourth Quarter (Final Score)
The starters remain on the bench for the entire fourth quarter. The focus is on getting the reserves minutes and staying healthy for tougher games ahead. Coleyville High finds a little rhythm against the deeper bench unit but never threatens the outcome. The final buzzer sounds on an easy, dominant victory for Kingston High.
Final Score:
Kingston High: 88
Coleyville High: 40
I have 30 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 steals, and 4 blocks
Kingston High moves to 11-5 and Coleyville High drops to 3-14
Coach Gelmer: Thats what i’m talkin about boys!!
On friday the whole team skips school to go hang out at the pool, and then on saturday we go to the gym all day and hoop with coach
(Sunday morning everyone heads to the game and warm up)
Coach Gelmer: this team is much better than Coleyville but if you play like you did Thursday you can win!
(The game begins)
the 11-5 Kingston High takes on the well-balanced 10-6 Junction High. Junction is a cohesive team without a superstar, but your team has finally found its rhythm, playing with excellent defense, ball movement, and hitting open shots. You are back to dominating as the "point center."
First Quarter:
The game starts with high energy from both teams. Junction's team defense is organized and disciplined, making it slightly tougher for you to score than the last game. However, your team's ball movement is fluid and purposeful. Sawyer is back to his elite shooting form, draining two early threes. You score 10 points and grab 4 rebounds, but Junction's balanced scoring keeps the game tight early.
Kingston High: 22 (I have 10 pts, 4 reb)
Junction High: 20
Second Quarter (Halftime)
Your team's defense shines in the second quarter. You anchor the paint with two blocks, and your teammates are communicating effectively, forcing Junction into tough, contested shots. The "super team friendly" offense continues to roll, with you finding open teammates cutting to the basket. Sawyer adds another three, and two other role players (James and TarTar) hit mid-range jumpers. Kingston starts to build a comfortable lead through superior execution.
Kingston High: 45 (I have 18 pts, 8 reb, 4 ast, 2 blk)
Junction High: 34
Third Quarter:
Junction tries to increase the pace and pressure to force turnovers, but your seasoned team handles it well. You score 8 points in the quarter, leveraging your size and speed advantage. The ball movement remains crisp, preventing Junction from keying in on any single player—even you. The game becomes a display of disciplined basketball from Kingston High, extending the lead to a commanding margin by the end of the third.
Kingston High: 68 (I have 26 pts, 12 reb, 6 ast, 3 blk)
Junction High: 48
Fourth Quarter (Final Score)
With the game essentially decided, the pace slows down. You play the first few minutes, adding a few more points and rebounds before you are subbed out to rest for future games. Your bench continues to play smart basketball, managing the clock and preventing any last-minute run from Junction. The final buzzer sounds on another well-earned, dominant victory for Kingston.
Final Score:
Kingston High: 82
Junction High: 56
I have 30 points, 15 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 steals, and 4 blocks
Coach Gelmer: Now this is the team i knew you boys could be!
Arnie: LETS GO GUYS!
Kingston High moves to 12-5 and Junction falls to 10-7
