π Welcome to the Ultimate NBA 2K Auction Mock Sim! π
Get ready to enter the GM war room, where every decision could define a dynasty or doom a franchise. In this high-stakes simulation, each team is allowed to retain a maximum of 3 core players the untouchables, the cornerstones, the faces of the franchise. Beyond that? Every other star, role player, and breakout talent is up for grabs.
This isn't your average fantasy draft. This is a bidding war, a chess match of salary strategy, scouting smarts, and cold-blooded boldness. You'll need to know your worth, bluff your rivals, and make every virtual dollar count.
Will you build a juggernaut around your Big 3? Or will you sacrifice star power for elite depth and chemistry or a even bigger star?
Let the auction begin. Let the legends be made. Let the games commence. π°π₯π
Auction Rules
Each team should have at least 15 players in their squad at the end of the auction. Failure to do so will eliminate your team despite how good your players are
All teams will be allocated a total budget of 240 Million
NO trades will be allowed by any means
You can retain 0,1,2 or a maximum of 3 players depending on your auction strategy and the expenditure on your retentions are standardized and is as follows. So you can choose how many you gonna retain wisely
1.Retention 1 - 60 Million
2.Retention 2 - 60 Million
3.Retention 3 - 20 Million (this is for rookies only. player can have a max of 1 year nba experience to fall into this bracket)
You can retain more than 1 rookie upto 3 rookies for 20 Million each but your total player retentions should be at max 3 regardless
Auction will commence once all the teams have been filled out and retentions are finalized
There will be separate auction pools allocated with around 5 players in each pool and only one pool will be auctioned per day and dates and player pools will be announced in advanced so you clearly know what date you should be on alert with the bidding to get your desired player
Each player will have a minimum base price of 2 Million
Bidding for an auction pool will start at 6 am Eastern Time Zone and will end at 6 am Eastern Time zone the other day. One auction pool basically lasts 24 hours
The highest bidder for a player at the end of the day during the above given time will be getting the player and I will be updating the bids through the day
In case there is a bidding war at 6 am Eastern time zone for the players I will coordinate with the team managers in the bidding war and decide ultimately who gets the player for the highest bid.
Once the auction ends and each team has 15 players it will be simmed on 2k
Sim will have no injuries and current players in FA like Lillard will be in the auction pool
If there are doubts or questions you can ask me
The GMs of the squads will be updated here
