s/nba_mocks - 2026 NBA Off-Season Mock!

Welcome! This will be a regular off-season mock, but it's going to be intense. All actual NBA CBA rules are on, including injuries. Trades will have to be approved and checked. It will be simmed on NBA 2k26. Let me know if you have any questions. Sign up below!

It is not mandatory that you use the sheet, but it is strongly recommended. You are still expected to make a roster post. If you catch any errors in the sheet, let me know.

Don't expect this mock to be rushed. I am not going to drag it out, but I am also not going to set hard deadlines. We will take our time and have fun! If season one goes well, there will likely be a second season.

If you decide to participate, immerse yourself into the mind of a GM. Basically keep the integrity of the mock.

There will be a mock committee of 3-5 people, that will make news updates and work as agents. You are allowed to be a GM and be part of the committee.

Let me know if this interests you. I will only be allowing users I have known for a long time to be part of this. No hard feelings from me if you ask and I say no.

This will be sort of like the insider stories - what Shams does. You can go to any committee member with news stories. If you are going to name drop other GMs, you must have their approval. There will be consequences (relating to the mock, not like real Fanspo punishments) if I find that this rule is broken. You also may submit anonymously to the best of your ability.

DRAFT LOTTERY

This mock will use the actual draft lottery. Since the mock is starting a few days before the lotto, hopefully the majority of teams will have GMs.
