The 24-25 NBA Season Pick'Em Challenge has now officially begun! Can't wait for this! As a reminder, SIGNUPS ARE STILL OPEN! The deadline to sign up for full participation is Tuesday at 6:45 PM EST (Week 0 and Week 1 prompts are due at 7:00 PM the same day). However, sign-ups are always open throughout the season! You'll just get a disadvantage in scoring.
Below you will find the Week 0 prompt. These will be questions regarding what the rest of the 24-25 NBA Season holds. Please answer these in a separate post or the comments.
Predict the 2024-2025 NBA regular season standings in the WC and EC, records are not necessary. [30 points, 1 point for each place]
Predict the following 2024-2025 NBA season awards: MVP, DPOY, ROY, SMOY, MIP, CPOY (Clutch), COY (Coach), EOY (Executive), Scoring Title, Hustle Award [20 points, 2 points for each award]
Predict the two All-Defense teams (list all 10 players) [10 points, 1 point for each player]
Predict 5 players who will get injured in the second half of the season (all injuries must occur after 2/26/2025 and be inactive for at least 5 games) [20 points, 4 points for each player]
Total Available Points: 80 points
This is the longest a prompt could get. You'll get another one of these again when playoffs come around the corner, but that's it. All other prompts will be single-word responses. You'll get until Tuesday, March 4th at 7:00 PM EST to complete this. That gives you 6 days, which is ample time.
Take note that this won't get scored until the end of the season. I usually do accept first-time late submissions, but this one must be on time since it's prediction-based; no exceptions. This is worth a lot of points and could be critical in determining the winner, so please submit it on time. I suggest that you don't wait until the last minute.
