s/nba_pickem - 2024-2025 NBA SEASON PICK'EM CHALLENGE!

Introduction: Welcome to the 2024-2025 NBA season pick'em challenge hosted by the three best Warriors fans on Fanspo: SpiralDUBS, KUMINGATHEBEST, and WarriorCurry30. This community challenge will last until AT LEAST the end of the 24-25 NBA regular season. Here's everything you have to know.

Roles:

SpiralDUBS: I will be making the questions. I am also the "main" host.

KUMINGATHEBEST: He will be making the questions.

WarriorCurry30: He will keep track of scores.

Rules:

Basics:

There will be at least 20 participants and a maximum of 50 in this challenge; signups are unlimited, the deadline is next Tuesday, 10/22 at 6 PM EST.
Each week will have its own "homepage" consisting of 3 links: The matchup prediction questions, the over/under and tiebreaker questions, and the scoreboard.

Questions:

There will be 35 new questions posted each week on Mondays.
The 35 questions will consist of 15 matchup prediction questions, 15 over/under questions, and 5 tiebreakers which you will most likely have to make a WILD guess.
All of the questions will be based on games from Tuesday-Sunday of that week. Monday games WON'T count; I'll explain why below.
Mondays will be what I call a "Hiatus Day". On Mondays, 35 new questions based on that week's games running from Tuesday to Sunday will be posted by the end of the day. By making Monday a "break" day, it'll give my helpers and me more time to make new questions and calculate the previous week's scores. Additionally, it'll give participants more time to answer the questions.
Participants will get until the beginning of the first game on Tuesday (usually 7 PM EST) to submit their answers.

Scoring:

The matchup predictions and over/under questions will range from 1-5 points based on their difficulty. Tiebreakers will range from 6-10 points based on their difficulty.
Scoring will be updated daily on WarriorCurry30's pinned scoreboard post. There will be TWO sections in that post: An All-Time scoreboard which will be every single point a participant has scored so far in the challenge, and the scoreboard of the current week.
We have yet to decide how the overall winner will be decided. It'll most likely be based on the amount of points scored in total after the challenge concludes.

Notes:

We aren't sure yet if this challenge will continue into the playoffs; we'll discuss it with each other.
Winner will get bragging rights, a follow from all 3 of us hosts, and likes and flames on the first 10 pages of their posts from us 3.
