Miami gets the star of the trade. Giannis Antetokounmpo, his brother Thanasis Antetokounmpo and Jeremy Sochan (Expiring Contract) head to Miami to give them the Star Player they've been seeking to give a legitimate shot at Championship Contention for the next 4 or 5 years.
Milwaukee gets to jump start the rebuilding/retooling of their roster with 2 young players with low-level All-Star potential (Herro and Kuminga) and a player with tremendous potential in Kel'el Ware, to build around for the future. Tyler Herro is a hometown kid from Milwaukee which will give fans someone to root for.
San Antonio gets the Floor Spacing they've needed to balance the floor for the price of a deep bench reserve who's been getting DNP-CDs. San Antonio is taking on a modest financial commitment but their books are set up to take it on without a problem. Between Fox, Castle and Harper the team doesn't have a great shooter in the backcourt. Buddy Hield provides them with one.
Golden State gets to bring back some familiar faces (Thompson and Wiggins) to surround Steph Curry and Draymond Green with for one or two last runs to the championship. They also upgrade their Center position (Anthony Davis) with a real difference maker on Defense. Draymond Green can take on the more physical players in the post and Davis provide the weak-side help. Also, Curry, Thompson and Wiggins will provide him tremendous spacing on the court. Golden State also picks up Dwight Powell to give them some minutes in the frontcourt.
Dallas gets out from under the final year of the Anthony Davis contract and get a motivated Jimmy Butler to go along with the spacing Moody will provide for Flagg and others. Al Horford is along for his retirement tour.
