2022 NBA Draft for my mock draft challenge

Here, you can select prospects and do the draft. Also, if you don't select within your time slot of 12 hours, I'll autopick for you the best player available on the board. Finally, you can add a description of why you made this pick and we'll add it in. (BTW, the draft starts when we have 25 teams).

  1. NOP (via DET): Paolo Banchero, Duke

Description: We believe that he is a great fit with our new look roster and that he will be a huge part to this teams future.

  1. ORL: Chet Holmgren, Gonzaga

  2. OKC (via NOP): Jabari Smith Jr., Auburn

Description: We believe that he has potential to be the best player in the league. He fits amazingly with our roster. We plan to continue to build around him and Shai for years to come.

  1. NOP (via OKC): Jaden Ivey, Purdue

Description: We believe that he is a great addition to our now really solid core of Paolo Banchero and Pascal Siakam. We think he can develop into an excellent second scoring option and help us win a championship

  1. HOU: Kendall Brown, Baylor

Description: At 19 years at the time of the draft he has a lot of upside on both sides of the ball and can become one of the best 2 way players in the league some day and adds much needed small forward depth for us.

  1. SAS: Jaden Hardy, G League Ignite

Description: We believe his scoring talent will take us to the next level in a few years.

  1. MIN (via SAC): Bennedict Mathurin, Arizona

Description: We believe that he can be a great with with our team. We love his 3 level scoring ability and his defense fits what we are trying to do.

  1. POR: Jalen Duren, Memphis

Description: We feel that his defense will be the final piece for us to contend

  1. IND: Patrick Baldwin Jr., Milwaukee (auto-picked)

Description: The Indiana Pacers believe Patrick Baldwin would be a great late-clock shot creator on this Pacers roster as the team has struggled to close out games the past season. The Pacers also value players who can operate off-ball since the direction this franchise is heading towards is building around Domantas Sabonis.

  1. NYK: Kennedy Chandler, Tennessee

Description: We select Chandler since we're going into a new era and a perfect PG would be Chandler

  1. IND (via MIN): Keegan Murray, Iowa

Description: The Indiana Pacers believe Keegan Murray is the best available left on the board and fits the backup 4 hole for the team. Murray would also be a player who would fit beautifully next to Sabonis with his ability to shoot from the corner, cut to the basket and defend from the perimeter.

  1. NOP (via ATL): TyTy Washington, Kentucky

Note: We are willing to trade him since our original target is off the board

  1. OKC (via TOR): Adrian Griffin Jr, Duke

Description: We believe that despite injury concerns he has the mentality and willingness to rise above. His potential is through the roof. We plan to build around are young forwards. Adrian has expressed his desire to play for us and will bring the energy every time he steps on the court.

  1. BOS: Dyson Daniels, G League Ignite

Description: We believe he has the talent to become the future of our franchise, and he is in the right place to develop. He is a great ball-handler and works hard, two things we cherish at this organization.

  1. MIN (via CHA): Jean Montero, Overtime Elite

Description: We believe he is NBA ready and can be the franchise point guard. He is a great combo guard and we believe Patrick Beverley can mentor him to make him one of the greatest PGs of our franchise. We have seen he can be a great PG for the OT Elite team and hope it will translate to the league

  1. WAS (via DAL): Trevor Keels, Duke

Description: How the heck did he fall to us, he is top ten on many big boards and we agree with them. He is a great all around wing who we are surprised fell this far!

  1. DEN: Max Christie, Michigan State

  2. BOS (via WAS): Mark Williams, Duke

Description: We believe he has some of the highest upside in the draft and is Gobert-like on the defensive end.

  1. PHI: Nikola Jovic, Mega Bemax

Description: He fell that low?!???!!??! Your really gonna give us a top 10 pick in this draft????? I'm taking him easy

  1. MEM (via LAL): Caleb Houstan, Michigan

  2. TOR (via MIA): Ousmane Dieng, New Zealand Breakers

  3. OKC (via LAC): Wendell Moore, Duke

Description: We believe that he is an amazing all around player. He will set the standards for OKC culture. He is a hustler on both ends and will help us immensely.

  1. CLE: Johnny Davis, Wisconsin

Description: He will be paired with Garland and Secton for the backcourt of the future. We believe he is a steal at 23 and has major upside.

  1. MEM: Christian Koloko, Arizona (auto-picked)

  2. MIL: JD Davison, Alabama

  3. CHI: Jeremy Sochan, Baylor

  4. MIN (via BKN): Peyton Watson, UCLA

  5. MEM (via UTA): Yannick Nzosa, Malaga (auto-picked)

  6. OKC (via PHX): Oscar Tshiebwe, Kentucky

Description: We understand that this is a huge reach. However, we see massive potential in him. We hope the he will become a top rebounder in the league.

  1. GSW: Bryce McGowens, Nebraska
